At Airbo, we want to make it easy to communicate with employees to educate them on their benefits. That's why we're excited to announce the new Free Text and Email Broadcast tool.
Each month, you'll be able to send a Broadcast to your employees. This could be an email, a text message, or both!
Getting Started
To get started, click the arrow icon in the Navigation bar. The first time you access the tool, you'll see that you haven't created any Broadcasts yet. Let's make one now! Click the 'New Broadcast Message' button.
Setting Up Your Broadcast
You'll see your Total Unique Contacts listed, along with the number of email addresses and cell phone numbers you have in Airbo. By default, we've selected both Email and Text to ensure everyone gets notified. However, you can uncheck an option if needed.
Remember, your one free Broadcast per month means one message to your employees. If you only want to send a text message and an employee isn't in the system, we recommend sending to both email and text so no one is left out. But it's totally up to your needs.
Composing Your Message
Let's go through sending both an email and text for this use case.
aken to the email composer. Write your email as you would in your favorite email client. For the basic tier, we've kept the email to rich text and links. The premier tier will allow images, GIFs, and more features if you're looking for more personalization.
Note: A subject line is required to click 'Next Step'.
The next screen is for writing your text message. You have 160 characters to convey your message.
Reviewing and Sending Your Broadcast
After clicking 'Review,' you'll get a chance to look at your email and text. We recommend clicking 'Send Test Message' so you can see how they look on your computer and phone before sending the message to your employees.
If you're happy with your message, click 'Send Broadcast.' Then click the 'Send Now' confirmation.
Your message will take a few moments to send, depending on your employee size.
You'll be taken back to the Summary page and should see the Status as Sent.
You'll be able to send your next Broadcast in 30 days.
Upgrading to Premium
If you'd like to send unlimited messages, target different population segments, schedule messages, create more personalized communications, and more, consider upgrading to our Premium Tier. Just add your credit card to unlock the new features. You'll still get one free Broadcast each month, and all additional messages will be pay-as-you-go with our transparent pricing.
