How to Adjust Your Board’s Sharing Settings

Airbo’s Public Sharing settings gives you one place to manage how employees and their families can access your Board.

Where to Find Public Sharing Settings

  • From your Navigation Bar, click the Gear Icon labeled Setup.

  • On that page, you’ll see the Public Sharing section with a main toggle and four additional options.


Enable Public Sharing

  • What it is: This allows your Board to be shared without account logins.

  • Why use it: Use this if you want to share your Board publicly. Without this toggle, none of the other sharing options will be available. Turn this on first before using the settings below.


Public Board URL

  • What it is: A shareable link anyone can view.

  • Why use it: Makes your Board easy to share with employees without requiring login.

  • When to avoid: If you want more control over who can access your Board.


Guest Access

  • What it is: Lets you share the board without an Eligibility File.

  • Why use it: This makes it easy to share the Board with your Employees and external people who have the Board link. This is beneficial if you want to send the link to employees without having an Eligibility File uploaded within Airbo. After two Tile views, the user will be prompted to create an account to track engagement data. 


Spouse Access to a Tile

  • What it is: Lets employees share individual Tiles with a spouse who doesn’t have an employer email address.

  • Why use it: Gives families access to key benefits information without opening the entire Board.


Tips for choosing the right settings

  • Use Public Board URL for easy sharing with employees without the need of an Eligibility file. This works great for hard to reach populations who might only see links via flyers and QR codes.

  • Use Guest Access if you want so make it easy for employees to get started viewing a Highlight with the ability to create an account with Airbo.

  • Use Spouse Access if it'll help boost benefits utilization if the spouse is likely the key decision maker for benefits.
