You can schedule Tiles to be sent out automatically, using Automate.

Similar to marketing emails, timing also matters on Tile Digest Emails. Whether you send your Tiles weekly, biweekly or monthly, if you send them on a consistent schedule, you’ll likely have more success because employees will expect the Tiles at that time, which helps to build a habit of participation in your communications.

We’ve found that sending Tiles infrequently or at various times can cause employees to automatically glaze over the Tile Digest Email because they’re busy and not expecting it at that time.

In addition to improving employee participation, Automate should also make your life easier because you no longer have to come in on a Monday and remember to post and send your Tiles. You can easily prepare them beforehand and then move on to other tasks.

Please note: Automate doesn’t send anything unless you’ve taken the necessary steps to use it, including setting up Automate and moving Tiles to the Proof section of the Edit page prior to the scheduled time.

Here’s how it works:

If you have Automate turned on, Airbo will automatically send any new Tiles in the Proof section of the Edit page to employees on the day and time you selected.

How to set it up:

1. Go to Send.

2. Click the “Automate” tab at the top of the page.

3. Select the, frequency day of the week, and time of day you’d like your Tiles to be sent.

4. Click “Schedule Tiles Digests.” That’s it!

A few things to note:

  • Airbo automatically sets the subject line of automated Tiles Digests to the headline of the first Tile in the Digest.  You can override this by setting your own subject line in the Send page and clicking “Save.”

  • If you don’t move any Tiles to Edit > Proof before the Tiles Digest is scheduled to be delivered, nothing will be sent out (because there are no new Tiles loaded to send!).

  • You can always cancel automated deliveries by going back to the Automate tab on the Send page and clicking the red “Remove Automation” button.

If you need any help using this feature, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success Representative or email support@airbo.com.
