Topics are a simple way to add a visual banner to each Tile with a category of your choice, such as nutrition, retirement, or fitness. It’s also an easy way for you to organize your Tiles across specific themes.

They’re completely customizable to you and your organization, and incredibly easy to use.

Here’s how to set up Topics on your Tiles:

In the Edit > Plan tab, look in the top right-hand corner of the page and click the drop-down arrow next to "All Topics". Then click "Manage Topics".

Click the “Create Topic” button to create a new Topic and add it to your library.

Name your Topic, and add a color. Tip: for a custom color, click the rainbow placeholder at the end of the line.

Click "Save" to save your new Topic.

To apply the Topic to your Tile, hover over the Tile and click the "edit" icon, and scroll to the bottom. You will now see your Topic as an option to select. Once you've selected your desired Topic, scroll back up to "Save Tile." You'll now see the Topic appear on your Tile.

You can add as many unique Topics as you want, but we recommend limiting them to a few big themes with which you want employees to identify.

Editing or Deleting Topics

To edit or delete Topics, follow the same steps above to get to Topic Settings and then select the "pencil" or "trash can" icons. Be sure to scroll down to see your full list of Topics.

Filtering by Topics

Now that your Topics are set up, you can keep track of what Tiles you're sending out under that Topic by utilizing the filter view.

For example, if you group all of your Open Enrollment Tiles with the Topic “Open Enrollment,” you can review just those Tiles within any tab of Edit (Plan, Live, and Archive) by filtering on just that Topic.

In the visual below you see under the Edit > Live tab that you can click on the drop-down arrow next to "All Topics" to sort your view by Topic.
